Q&A with Regal Tent’s Director of Sales and Marketing Gregg Chipman

Q: How long have you been at Regal for?

A: July 22, 2002 was the start date. So, 14 years this July.

Q: In what ways has your job in sales changed over the last few years, and do you see it changing at all in the future?

A: As with most jobs, as time passes and experience is gained, more responsibility is taken on. I tend to deal with the larger Projects more often. I hope to help others with the General Sales process.

Q: What is on your perfect pizza?

A: One of two choices, Philly Steak from Dominos or Pepperoni, Hot Italian sausage (slices not little balls) and Green Olives.

Q: What is your typical day at work like in the office?

A: A great balance of pressured moments, getting help from the knowledgeable group we have, providing assistance to others and hopefully a couple of laughs along the way.

Q: What have you always wanted and did you ever get it?

A: I try not to reach for things that are unreachable. I have what I always wanted and so far they still let me live with them!

Q: In your mind, what has been your most significant career accomplishment?

A: I tend to let others determine what my accomplishments are in the work world.

Q: What would your number one advice be to someone starting out in a sales position?

A: Everyone is going to tell you how to do everything that works for them. Your job is to pick the ones that work for you!

Q: What you rather have a missing finger or an extra toe?

A: Extra toe.

Q: If you had to choose, what motto would best suit your outlook on life?

A: Family is everything.

Q: If you could choose one thing about your job that you absolutely loved, what would it be?

A: There are both, good and hard days in every job. The people that I work with make the hard days much easier to take. They’re extended Family!
