In many parts of Southern Ontario when new home developments launch, there is a flurry of excitement and a rush to be one of the few who is lucky enough to procure a new home. This is especially true in areas like Halton, which encompasses Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Georgetown and Acton, all of which are highly coveted towns and cities.  On the outskirts of both Toronto and Hamilton, these smaller bedroom communities offer a suburban way of living that appeals to many who work in the metropolises nearby.

Due to the popularity of these communities, when new home developers hold their grand opening weekends, there are often line ups, hundreds of cars, and even police to organize the masses! One popular developer – Country Homes – had a massive grand opening for their West Country Milton development this past weekend, and they called on Regal Tent to help create heated space for their inevitable line up. For Regal, this meant transforming part of the parking lot at their immaculate Sales Centre into a comfortable space for their would-be home buyers!

We installed a 20′ x 60′ Legacy Tent for this job, complete with clear vinyl walls on either side to make sure some natural light flowed in. We hung 4 lights on the interior to provide even more light, and also had a heater blowing warm air inside the tent so that the crowds awaiting their turn in the Sales Centre could wait comfortably. Country Homes wanted to make sure that their home buyers had the best possible experience when purchasing a new home, and Regal Tent was more than happy to help them with their vision! Seems like they had the right idea too, as they sold out of single detached homes on Saturday!
