The event, which took place on October 20, 2007, marked the official announcement of the most ambitious fundraising campaign in University history, and as such, needed to be preformed flawlessly. In just three short weeks, Regal transformed a barren lot in to an elegant setting for 1,800 of our University’s most important constituents. Their structure spanned over 100,000 square feet and included a dramatic, three-tiered saddlespan tent at its entrance. Also, transparent ceilings and glass walls provided views of the Philadelphia skyline and the evening’s finale – a low-level fireworks display. Our guests were audibly impressed with the size, scope and overall execution of their structure.

"Being charged with hosting a World Championship can be a daunting task, but to try an outdo the previous setting with one of the seven wonders of the world as a backdrop is near impossible. That being said Regal Tent Productions were up to the challenge.
With a potential TV audience in excess of 2.13 billion we were able to utilize Regal’s unique product and vast expertise to help showcase our beautiful island by erecting a purpose built venue in one of Bermuda’s most stunning locations.
As with any event there are always challenges at the most inopportune moment and our event was no exception. Hurricane Noel caused havoc with our construction and shipping schedule, but Regal quickly made up time to have us back on schedule and handled everything the extreme weather could throw at us.
The end result was a venue that surpassed everybody’s expectations. The accolades that we received from the local and international media, the players, Bermuda Government and the international federations are a credit to Regal’s skill and experience in the special event industry.

"Although Regal Tent Production has been a supplier at York University for a number of years, in 2004, we found it necessary to relocate Convocation ceremonies elsewhere on campus. We took this opportunity completely re-invent the format of our ceremonies in order to execute fewer but considerably larger events. We were challenged to design a venue that would reflect the significance of the very special occasion that is convocation, and would accommodate slightly more than 5,000 people.
We began meeting with the team from Regal Tent Productions early in 2004 and very quickly found that the Regal team and our team became one seamless organization. I cannot overstate the scale of this series of events, the amount of logistical details, and the board range of requirements we had. We named Regal Tent Productions our single source supplier for all aspects of our convocation venue as well as related areas of operation such as robing for faculty and students, marshalling and receptions. While the Regal staff are often referred to as the "Convocation tent people", we all recognize that this doesn't begin to describe the breadth of services and support Regal provides.
